This Privacy Policy explains how the Hovarda application ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data. Hovarda is intended only for users aged 18 and over.
1. Data We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information: email address, password (encrypted), name, date of birth/age, gender.
- Profile content: photos, bio, interests.
- Messages and interactions: chats, likes, matches, reports, and block records with other users.
- Payment information: verification tokens for purchases made through Google Play (card details are not stored by us; they are processed by Google).
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device information (model, operating system, language, country).
- App usage logs, error and performance data.
- Device identifiers used for push notifications (OneSignal player ID).
- IP address (used solely for security and fraud prevention).
2. How We Use Your Data
- To create your account, log you in, and display your profile to other users.
- To suggest matches that fit your preferences.
- To provide messaging, notifications, and customer support.
- To detect fake accounts, harassment, and fraud, and to enforce our community rules.
- To meet our legal obligations.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only in the following limited cases:
- Other users: the public information on your profile (photo, name, age, bio).
- Service providers: services such as hosting, storage, analytics, push notifications (OneSignal), and authentication (Google) — limited to data needed to deliver the service.
- Payment processors: Google Play Billing.
- Legal authorities: when required by court order or valid legal request.
4. Location Data
Hovarda does not collect precise location (GPS) data. For matching, we may use only the device language or the city/country the user manually selects.
5. Sensitive Data
Sharing sensitive information such as health, sexual orientation, or religious views in your profile is entirely voluntary. By entering this information you give explicit consent for it to be shown to other users. You can remove it from your profile at any time.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Records subject to legal retention obligations (e.g., payment/invoice records) may be archived until the legal period ends.
7. Your Rights
- Access, correct, or request deletion of your data.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Request a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.

8. Children's Privacy
Hovarda is not intended for users under 18. If we become aware that a user under 18 has registered, we will close the account and delete the data immediately. For more information, see our Child Safety Standards page.
9. Security
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Server access is restricted via role-based authorization. While no system is 100% secure, we apply industry-standard safeguards.
10. Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in the countries where our service providers operate. We ensure an adequate level of protection for such transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will announce material changes via in-app notification or email. The current version is always available on this page.
